Modern Pirates Club is governed by the Pirate Syndicate, an exclusive and innovative community designed to empower NFT holders with transparency, collaboration, and decision-making power. While not a fully decentralized DAO, the Pirate Syndicate ensures that members actively shape the future of MPC while keeping the ship on course.
This system is similar to a DAO, but since it won’t be fully decentralized, we’ve named it the Pirate Syndicate. NFT holders can vote and contribute on many decisions, while a structured approach ensures the club stays focused and on course.
The Pirate Syndicate is divided into three core sections, each serving a distinct purpose:
The Pirate’s Tavern (Chatting)
A lively and interactive space where pirates from around the world gather to share ideas, swap stories, let loose and build connections. The Pirate’s Tavern is the heart of the Syndicate’s social life, fostering camaraderie and keeping the adventurous spirit alive.
The Crew’s Ledger (Updates)
The official logbook of the Syndicate, this section serves as a read-only space for major updates. Here, the team and key members post essential information, including:
Financial summaries of the Treasure Island (community wallet).
Progress reports on projects and ventures.
Announcements about upcoming events and key milestones.
The Crew’s Ledger ensures transparency and keeps everyone informed about the club’s direction.
The Compass Room (Voting)
The decision-making hub where members steer the ship together. In the Compass Room, NFT holders vote on upcoming projects, event locations, and more, using a simple thumbs-up, thumbs-down, or neutral system. While all members can vote, the ability to suggest new initiatives is reserved for key contributors, such as large or long-term NFT holders, ensuring focus and high-quality proposals.
Every NFT will represent 1 vote. There will be no "extra" votes for holding many NFTs. Eg: 1 NFT= 1 vote, 80 NFT= 80 votes.
The Pirate Syndicate is more than a governance model; it’s a dynamic and innovative approach to blending inclusivity with focus. By giving NFT holders a voice while maintaining structure, it ensures that the club thrives as a community while staying aligned with its long-term vision.

At the core of the Pirate Syndicate is the Treasure Island, a community wallet that funds the club’s projects, rewards, and initiatives. All NFT holders have access to view the wallet’s holdings in SOL, BTC, and USDC, ensuring complete transparency.
