The Compass Room: Where Pirates Shape the Future

The Compass Room is the voting hub of the Pirate Syndicate—a place where ideas turn into action. Here, club members decide what projects Treasure Island’s funds will support, shaping the club’s growth and ensuring every pirate has a say in the journey ahead.

How It Works

1. Submitting Ideas Any holder can propose an idea, which will first be reviewed by the MPC core team. If multiple pirates suggest similar ideas, they’ll be grouped and refined into a single proposal.

2. Two Types of Projects Once an idea reaches the Compass Room, it will fall into one of two categories:

• Raw Ideas: These are early-stage concepts submitted by the community.

  • Raw ideas are voted on with simple thumbs-up, thumbs-down, or neutral options.

  • To move forward, an idea needs:

    • 50% thumbs-up approval.

    • 15% community participation.

    • Less than 10% thumbs-down rejection.

• Evaluated Projects: If a raw idea passes the vote, the MPC core team will conduct thorough research, estimating costs, timelines, and overall feasibility. Then the research will be posted for a group evaluation.

  • Evaluated projects return to the Compass Room for a final vote.

  • To pass, projects require:

    • 50% community participation.

    • 60% approval from those who voted.

Final votes are decisive—once the community approves a project, the team begins turning it into reality.

Here are a few examples of the types of projects you’ll vote on:

• “Start a second MPC hostel in Tenerife.”

• “Allocate funds to purchase 10 BTC as a long-term investment for Treasure Island.”

• “Launch an animated series featuring MPC pirates as the main characters.”

• "Pay 3 SOL to each club member as dividends"

The possibilities are endless, and the future of Modern Pirates Club is limited only by the ideas and votes of its members.

The club will NOT engage in anything illegal or immoral or that is highly detrimental to the planet. We are here to have a good time, make money and create an epic community, but not at all costs. The good of the world comes first.
